Welcome to our blog!

So our daughter, Kristen, has finally convinced us to start our own blog and even designed it for us! What do ya think? Pretty neat huh?

For those of you who haven't heard from us in a while I will give you some updates:

We currently live at our home in good ol' Bristol, Connecticut. It's autumn time and the leaves are changing colors and we are really enjoying our life together. Patti still teaches at O'Connell school for emotionally disturbed children. Leon is having troubles with back pain and is unable to work at the moment but is studying real estate investing and has high hopes for the future.

Amber is 24 and got married 4 years ago to Andrew Letcher. They had their first daughter (and our first grand daughter!) Addyson Elizabeth who is now almost 20 months old. She is absolutely beautiful and her personality is shining brighter and brighter each day. Amber is an elementary teacher and Andrew works as a truck driver. They live in Ogden, UT and we visit them as much as we possibly can and miss them all the time. They are coming out for Christmas this year so we are really excited!

Kristen is 21 and got married to Josh Roberts 2 years ago. Still no kids but they do have their puppy Sam who is their pride and joy! Kristen loves working at RE/MAX Results as their receptionist and Josh is currently working as a customer service representative for a tutoring company called "Easy Way to an A." They live in Taylorsville, UT and are working hard to save their money so they can come home soon!

Alecia is 18 and is a freshman at Southern Connecticut State University. She loves the college life and her new found freedom. She is undecided about what she wants to major in but we know she will do a great job with whatever she decides. She loves spending time with her friends, shopping, and of course boys. She still comes home to visit on the weekends and we're glad she decided to stay close to home!

As for us... since all of our kids moved out we are spending a lot of time together lately. We love movies, dining out, hiking, taking scenic drives, traveling, and visiting our family. We are finding lots of fun things to do together and have plenty of pictures to show for it.

Hopefully we will figure out how to post pictures soon and tell you about all our favorite "Dea Family Moments & Memories!" Stay tuned and check back for updates!
